What does Garden Youth Development Project Offer?

Garden Youth Development Project offers a variety of programs for youth 0 -17. “JAMboree Studio” and “Open JAM Session” are programs both designed for younger kids and take place downtown at Garden Level Studios. Programs designed for older youth occur at various locations including local churches, community centers through Tucson Parks & Recreation, as well as Garden Level Studios. These programs include “The Launch Pad”, “Multi Media Projects” and the “Gospel Choir of Tucson”.

We believe that discovery in small groups is the most effective way to help youth learn. GYDP is committed to keeping our session sizes under 15 kids for JAMboree Studio and Open JAM Session, and our team sizes under 15 youth for The Launch Pad and our Multi Media Projects. These programs are designed to spark the imagination of your child, and to foster an environment which will make their experience memorable.

TEAM BUILDING

“The Launch Pad” and our “Multi Media Projects” take advantage of older youth’s critical thinking skills by grouping youth together on teams to complete various media projects. Youth enrolled in Launch Pad programs will learn subjects of academia in a way that helps them understand how academics fit into various career fields. They will create plays, music and short movies using subject matter from school.
